It’s been one week since the seeds hit the dirt and we already seeing some signs of life…
Domenico and I started our seeds on March 21st. They get sunlight from 7am until about noon, and get light from two florescent grow lights all night. I’ll keep the lids on the seed trays until we see sprouts.
I’ve been wanting to learn how to grow vegetables for years, and stumbled across the book All New Square Foot Gardening: Grow More In Less Space by Mel Bartholomew. After reading through it a few times over the winter and discussing it with my now five year old son Domenico we decided to try out hand at vegetable gardening this year.
